Nowadays you can always find one or multiple giant crane-blocks (for crane vessels) in the Vermeulen Europoort workshop. The blocks belong to one of the most famous and biggest Dutch heavy lift shipping company located in Amsterdam and have a SWL varying from 50 up to 400 tons.

Together with the client Vermeulen Europoort created the plan to ship all (in stages) crane-blocks towards the workshop at the Europoort Rotterdam to refurbish them. In the workshop every block gets disassembled, inspected, blasted, painted, assembled, proof-loaded and finally shipped back the client as new
